RBE - VOIP is a Voice Over Internet Protocols (VOIP) phone service.
A VOIP service enables you to make telephone calls over your ADSL or Wireless Broadband internet connection. You do not have to be an RBE Internet Customer to use our VOIP service however our network is engineered to give maximum performance for VOIP and we cannot guarantee the quality of service via another Providor.
RBE - VOIP over ADSL : call quality over ADSL is comparable to that of a standard telephone service.
RBE - VOIP over Wireless Broadband : call quality over Wireless Broadband is comparable to that of a mobile phone call. Wireless Broadband performance can vary depending on location and VOIP may not be reliable if the tower becomes congested.
You will need a 3G Router and Gigaset phone for your VOIP service.
A soft phone on a computer can also be used however the soft phone needs to support G729 codec for best performance. A soft phone can be downloaded from :
